The Jesus People Movement with mass baptisms of hippies at Corona Del Mar was catalyzed by a hippie preacher named Lonnie Frisbee who allowed himself to be used by the Spirit in his day. He not only impacted the Jesus Movement, he also was catalytic in releasing the Holy Spirit for Calvary Chapel and the Vineyard Movement. This School of Revival 3-Day Intensive will be looking at an overview of the Jesus People Movement and how the testimonies of what God did then can inform how to position us to steward world wide revival today. In Book One, The Jesus Revolution, Lonnie opens up about his troubled childhood, the brokenness that marked his early life, and his experimentation with drugs and different forms of spirituality. After his radical conversion to Christianity in Tahquitz Canyon, Lonnie begins his groundbreaking ministry as an evangelist, culminating in the expansion of Calvary Chapel with Chuck Smith and the major cultural movement known as the Jesus People Revival of the early 1970s.
In Book Two, The Great Commission, Lonnie embarks on a mission trip to Central and South America, Israel, Europe, and Africa, experiencing a new level of the Holy Spirit’s power and anointing. In 1980, Lonnie dramatically shakes things up back home in America and helps ignite what is known today as the Vineyard movement. Through interviews with first-hand witnesses, close friends, and the words of Lonnie himself, readers can follow Lonnie around the world as he goes to the nations for Jesus.

The sessions will be streamed LIVE in a private Facebook Group every morning at 9:00am PT followed by a private Zoom debrief time together with breakout rooms (Debrief session usually but not always, ends around 10:30am but 11am is more realistic if you want to have ample time in breakout rooms but that is not required).
You will need a Facebook account to participate and have access to the course.
Saturday Feb. 25 is a half day intensive 9:00am-12:30pm with a break included.
All sessions will be recorded for immediate playback if you have to miss a session. You will have access to all of the sessions for up to two months following the intensive
This is an encounter school and led by the Holy Spirit so be prepared for plans to change if necessary.

If any of these is not complete, you will not be fully registered or get access to the training.
*Registration is non-refundable however if you can no longer make it, you can scholarship someone else to join or be credited toward a future SOR training.
